Hero Moto Corp. had shown a new scooter in London alongside the Impulse when the biker maker transformed from Hero Honda to Hero Moto Corp. The scooter has now been launched in New Delhi and is christened, the Maestro. From the look of it, the Maestro is more masculine as compared to the Hero Pleasure. The Maestro is powered by a 109cc petrol engine that puts out 8.2 PS of power at 7500 RPM. It also incorporates the ASFS technology and Advanced Microprocessor Ignition that you find on the Hero Pleasure. Like the Honda scooters, the Hero Maestro features a combined braking system which is called ‘Integrated Braking System’ on the Hero scooter.
The maestro also features a digital- analogue combo meter with a ‘Service due’ indicator. The Maestro also features the puncture
resistant tyres with tuff-up tubes that debuted on the Honda Activa. The Maestro incorporates a wide seat and macho stance to attract the male audience.
The Hero Maestro will be on display at the 2012 Auto Expo.
