BMW Z2, BMW Z2 Price, Review & Mileage

BMW will be launching the BMW Z2 in India around September 2010. The car is being launched following the success of BMW Z4. This two-seater will be based on the components and chassis of Z4 but the design of the Z2 is smaller than the Z4.

BMW Z2 Specification :

Compared to the 6-cylinder engine of
the BMW Z4 the BMW Z2 will have a 4-
cylinder engine. The BMW Z2 review
shows that the engine will be a 1.
6L
direct injection engine capable of
delivering power of 150 bhp. The car may also have the option of a 2.0L 4-
cylinder M-tuned version engine. The
engine will be accompanied by option
of manual transmission as well as
double clutch gearbox. The car will have chassis similar to the
Z4 comprising of struts up front and
multilink setup at the back. The car has
a top speed of 240 km/hr and can
reach 0 to 100 km/hr in just 7
seconds. The BMW Z2 also has a soft top roof so as to optimise the weight
as well as the space.

BMW Z2 Price and design variations :

The car is expected to cost around Rs
45 lakhs in the Indian market and it
will be available in a single design
variation.

The colors in which the car will be
available in Indian market are not
known as yet.

BMW Z2 Mileage :

The mileage figures for the car on
Indian roads are not known.
