Maruti India has launched the CNG version of Maruti Alto today that is available with only LXi variant. The factory fitted CNG variant is priced at Rs 3.23 lakh. The CNG operated variant is claimed to cost Rs 1 for every one kilometer along with more power and enhanced fuel efficiency. The company has used latest intelligent-Gas Port injection (i-GPI) for better results. This new fuel operated version will initially be available in Gujarat, Mumbai and Delhi NCR and introduced in other cities in the coming months.
